My Edge CS went to a dark (blank) screen on me...Beeps twice at start up and then remians quiet and "asleep" so to say.

Has this happened to anyone else? Is there a home remedy or am I looking at a return?

Happened to me too.. Plug it into fusion and run the program. It will rebuild the files that are likely corrupted... Let us know if that works.
BTW, any custom tunes will be lost if you update. So after fusion "repairs" the device, unplug it.
