I like the way your truck is now personally... The black rims might look good, but the taillights are a no no for me. Can you say pull me over please any louder?

haha yea. Its either tinting them or getting harley oem talillights, they are darker than stocks. but im still wondering what to do, since it should not be more than $150 to black all that out.

Black it out, including the tails make sure you leave the white rectangle open though A it looks cool and B it makes it non illegal.

I just finished scraping off plastic dip off my factory rims to sell them and boy was it tough. At first the dip is easy to take off but leave it on for a couple months and it gets hard to take off. I like the dip though and I feel it gives the rim more protection from nicks. As for the black outs, I'd spray a little less black and add clear coat to make it shine like a Harley-Davidson truck.

About the rims I suggest maybe seeing of some one would trade some rims with you. You can possible get some rims that are't completely black but you still like, unless you like the all black more. Post them in the trade/sale threads and see what offers you get.

Worth a try If the rash is bad then dipping would probably be a good idea. Are you able to tape off some sections when you dip?
