I have an 06 Ford f150 4x4 with the 5.4 v8 triton and a week ago the transmission started acting up and it threw a trans fault on the dash and when I was able to get it on a reader the code came up as p0732 which it said gear 2 incorrect ratio..I read about it and it says the input and output speed sensors are not reading the same..well I bought new input and output speed sensors and put em in along with new trans fluid and filter and it didn't fix the problem..there were a few metal shavings as normal but no big chunks so all and all if anyone has had this problem also please let me know what u did to fix it..ty

 

Sorry but probably 90% of the post like result in the trans having some kind of internal failure and that's why you get the code, the input shaft is spinning like crazy and the output is not.
There have been a few reports of success with it being a solenoid problem, or check *****, internal wiring, etc but it takes a lot of research and troubleshooting and you still have the possibility of it being a mechanical if none of those pan out.
