First off this is my first ever post on this site but I've used it numerously since I've bought my truck its extremely helpful. I



just need opinions maybe advice lol. As you can see I have that annoying looking black thing (not sure what its called). Anyway I was wondering if any of you guys have painted this before and how it turned out? Sorry if this has been brought up before I've searched and I've had no luck.

 

I think the ones who have painted it had it painted professionally. If you want to see what it looks like painted just look at an XLT, I'm assuming you have an XL. The outsides of the two are the same except for mirrors, grill, and the black piece you are talking about and the XLT's have that painted to match the rest of the truck so that can tell you what it looks like.

 

Alright thanks I appreciate it and yeah I'm def getting it done professionally I couldn't stand for my truck turning out like crap.

 

Seriously, annoying black thing? What was the annoying black thing on your truck? The lower grill opening, the mirror, the antenna, please everyone try harder to ask better questions

 

Below the grille sorry its right in the picture figured somebody had enough common sense to know I wasn't talking about the antenna or grille.

Get the rant!!!! I asked, because of the original question, try to be less general with the question, the black thing is the lower grill opening and they make fillers for them.

 

I'm pretty sure he is talking about the black upper bumper. He has a white truck so that made the only sense to me so that what I commented on about painting it.
