I have researched this during my recent deployment and now that im back and I know my truck is running good and my wife has an amazing job im ready to start my build but I want to get some feedback. my truck is a 2005 fx4 with 89,000mi. Its a daily driver for about 10mi each way to work. I run 35" nitto trail grapplers and 3.73 gears

this is what I want to do and I am ready to pull the trigger please tell me if anyone has any better ideas.

whipple 2.3 running 8 psi intercooled
39# injectors
HTO plugs
BBK 90mm throttle body
phaser lockouts
new timing chain, guides, sprocket and tensioners
comp cams stage 1 SPR blower cams
bee hive strings
new lifters
Pacesetter long tubes
O/R y pipe
Gibson batback with dual side exits behind rear tire (already installed)
mail order tune from Troyer because I live in Germany

thank you

I would work with whatever tuner you wil be using for the build. It looks impressive and should be fun

Will they allow you to not have cats in eu?

Do you have any recommendations on a tuner that can handle this?

You are suggesting a mail order tune from Troyer. Call him. He should be able to answer your Q, and also get you a tune that's close, and after a few data-logs, I would imagine you'd be close.

speedstreetz - If you put the whipple 2.3 running 8 psi intercooled on you won't need a programmer, it comes with one. And putting another programmer on it would lead to more problems. If you want you can check out their site and read about it.

Order a tuner kit for the whipple.... You will have to get your own fuel, Maf, programer. Just so you know the cams and long tubes will lower the boost out put of your engine. And I'd recomend contacting VMP for your tune.

Well just ordered everything. All I need is injectors now. Ended up getting a ford racing radiator, flywheel and 2500 stall

I'll admit that my experience in programing is limited but can you not just adjust for stall in programming instead of ordering a new convertor?
