2.5 Level. 35" tires. Edge. 12.5-14 mpg's The edge definitely helped w/ the larger tires.

I would love to meet some of you guys getting 14-16 in the 5.4.....
I drive my truck as a daily and the BEST I have ever gotten was about 11mpg on my tank.
I average 8-10 mpg normally when I drive it hard. When I take it easy I can swing 11.

mods -
Stock wheels / tires, Volant CAI, true duals w/flowmaster 40 series

Hows your maintenence? When my truck hit 60k i changed out all fluids and plugs and it averages 14 with the incorrect speedo, so its actually better.

I track my mileage carefully as of late. My 2007 5.4L 4x4 Super Crew is stock other than the yokohama tires and I had my plugs done at around 80k. I use the free version of FuelLog on android to track mileage and whatnot.

Since August 1st my low has been 14.61 mpg (went to smugglers notch and drove up and down a mountaing in 4wd) and my High has been 16.87 mpg.

I drive on the highway and try to use cruise control to slow and speed up, keeping it anywhere from 65-75 (shoot for 70). I also drive 330+ miles per week to and from work and to and from customer sites.

I used to get closer to 16.5mpg more regularly, but I feel like something has changed, might be the new set of yokohama AT/S tires I put on or something. Or its the fact that its over 100k miles.

It's probably the increased rolling resistance of the AT tires... If they are bigger then previous set then that will affect it too...

Probably, they are the same as the factory. might be slightly taller? I got the exact same size as the Generals that were on there before

I usually try to keep all shifts below 2k RPM. Very light with the throttle. Usually always in the right lane and going either the speed limit or under. It's very unusual for me to do this in any car or truck, but averaging 12.5-14mpg I'm not gunna be speed racer.

I'm currently sitting at 87xxx miles and still haven't done my plugs, but would it really be affecting mileage that bad???
