I would still go VMP rather than edge.

Is that a Chip or a Company that tunes it? Would I have to bring my truck to them or just have them send me a chip

Its all done online. You purchase the tuner and tell them what upgrades you have etc and they build the tuning file for you and then send you the tuner so that you can program your truck. You can also change the tunes later on if you add more upgrades later on.

Hmm.. I didn't know that. I thought that it didn't matter where you bought the truck from, if it was still under the certain amount of mileage the dealership had to honor the warranty, but okay.

The factory warranty is gone on an '04 now and dealer warranties are usually 30-60 days.

I got a 60 day warranty on my truck because the mileage was under 80k.
