Default mpg assurance!

i just want reassurance or any help. Im getting about 11-12 mpg in town. I have changed the pulgs, the coil boots, gas filter, have an 87 performance tune, removed rear cats, and a magnaflow muffler. I keep the psi on my tires at 35 just what the doors say. I dont drive hard or have jack rabbit starts.

any other parts ...

I run a hundred miles a day on my commute with some start and stop's on the way and get around 15-16 mpg. Straight hwy. get about 17-18 with heavy Toyo's on my truck. My truck has always gotten good mileage. I run about 45 psi and run flat Louisiana highways with 55 and 65 mph speed limit's.

I am a mile high and I get 15-17 with my '05 STX 4X4 4.6L. Combination of hwy and dirt roads, 75MPH top speeds and avg around 45MPH. All stock as far as I know. I got 19 with my '96 Explorer 4.0L 6 cylinder, so not bad considering the size and power increase.
"I knew a guy that did get better mileage as follows: He put new plugs and it saved 25%, then a new muffler that saved 15%, gas additive that saved 25%, special tires that saved 35%, mod air intake that saved 50%. But he had to take it all off because the gas tank kept running over, LOL."

i wonder why some trucks get good mpg while some others dont, but probably has alot to do with the area and the stop and go, but the weird thing is that the tune actually lowered my mpg not by alot but it was a tad noticeable

I run the level 2 canned tune on my Edge with 87 octane and my truck runs great plus the good mileage. I do agree running in an area with no hills or mountains helps out a lot.

Over the last 22,000km I've used 3170 liters. Doing the math, this equates to 16.3 US mpg in a mix of highway/suburban driving with a fairly light foot and mostly very gentle starts and almost no idling.

The mileage computer in my stock '08 5.4L 3.55 Lariat is a bit optimistic - regularily showing over 18 US mpg but the service station receipts and odometer don't bear this out.
