I've got an '05 F150 Supercab Lariat 5.4 V8 that I got into last week. I would like to take the stock look, performance and sound to another level without spending thousands. Any suggestions?

Not to sound like a jerk, but it really depends on what you are looking for.

Yeah that is a very vague question. I would put a leveling kit with some bigger tires and blacks wheels. Then a tuner and cat back exhaust system. Give us more of an idea of the look your going for.

yeah um if you dont want to spend thousands then you are limited.... but you did say "I would like to take the stock look, performance and sound to another level without spending thousands"
1. Tint- 100
2. tires and rims- low side 2k.
3. level lift- 400
4. CAI- 200
5. Tuner- 400
6. exhaust--350

this stuff adds up quicky.. my truck has alot done to it and more on the way. I havent even lifted mine yet and im at a little over 4k....

Taller not bulkier. Deeper sounding exhaust. I've heard of the GOTTS intake mod..? Is it worth trying ? I would like to camo accent it, but camo wrap doesn't look too good on a red truck. Any camo accent ideas?

GOTTS mod is cheap and has been said to work. Cheap route for the exhaust-- have the muffler cut and do straight pipes from the cats. our motor sound amazing this way... I had flowmasters put on and duelled out. I am getting them cut off and doing straight pipes from the cats. this will run you about 100 from a muffler shop. also look into Plasti dip spray for accenting stuff. its cheap and not permanent. goodluck, welcome to F150 and GO DAWGS!!!!

Just pull the muffler off completely. Nice and loud and it's free.

Does it have to be cut off? Does it have to be replaced with piping?
