sup guys,i have an 08 XL 4.2l,does anyone knowsome good mods i could do to get a lil more out of it,im not trying to make it super fast or anything but just get some more power outa it? thanks!

 

Exhaust, Intake, Power Tuner... All depends on how much dinero you have!

 

i know superchip makes a tuner for your model i think it's #1815 (check on ebay pretty cheap like $200) and i also know you can add a cai (also check on ebay also about $200). hope this helps.

 

Any improvements that are done to the 5.4 can be done to the little 4.2 V6 (I have one too), with decent results. Problem is finding aftermarket places that sell these upgrades.

As stated, a CAI, muffler, and tuner can be had. It will never be the V8 (no replacement for displacement), but you can wake it up a bit.
