Default misfire but no code

I was getting the infamous ticking noise coming from the left side of the engine (if you’re facing the truck) and I wanted to do something about it. So I pulled each sparkplug and coil to clean them. When I put everything back, my truck started to misfire but I didn’t get any codes. What should I do? Oh and by the way the ticking noise went away, I guess it has to do with the sparkplugs or coils.

I assume you had to pull the computter from the rear of the firewall to get to the #8 plug/cop.

That being the case, the engine needs to go through a couple of drive cycles to re-teach the CPU.

The procedure should be in your owner's manual.

The dealer didn't give me a Manuel so I'm looking for one online.

Depending in the severity of the misfire it may take days or weeks. If you notice your cel light flashing during the misfire that means its picking it up and after the third cycle with the flashing you'll get the solid cel
