Ok well today I changed out both of the cam sensors. Runs better but still sputtered... not as much though. Also idles smoother. When all this happened I was under a 1/4 tank of fuel. i went and filled up on my way to get a fuel filter and it seeemed to run even better. It sputtered much less. If the fuel filter is clogged would it cause these issues? Would it cause it to throw a P0022 which is a cam sensor code? Any help guys would be great!

Ok so yesterday I changed out my two cam sensors... Idles smoother but I still get the occasional sputter. Filled the truck up yesterday(when I was first expericing the shutter the truck had less than 1/4 tank) and seems to running even better. From the reading ive done I guess my next step is to replace the VCT solenoids. What does everyone think? My truck sounds the same cold as it does warmed up so I doubt that my cam phaser on the drivers side is stuck. What do you all think?

*Truck ran fantastic today on my way to work.... So confused!!!

Just an update... I scanned my truck again today and the code that came up was P1101. My P0022 is gone. We removed the MAF sensor and plugged it back in. Truck runs great. No more stalling... Nothing. What I think happened was orginally when I had my truck scanned the first code that came up was the P0022 for my CPS. There was also another code for the MAF. He must had not seen it. Kinda of a wierd deal but for now truck is running great. Im going to keep this thread updated on what happens for the next few days.
