Those chips are in the same category as the plastic, electric supercharger you put in your intake. All it is is a glorified desk fan with a fancy name. Fins in your intake are no big deal... ...

Just learn from it, better educate yourself on such products before taking the plunge. Jump on here and search it, someone, somewhere has tried it and has talked about it. But try to use common sense with these kinks of "deals", i mean, 300HP for $25? Seems too good to be true?! It is. Your safe/reliable/tried and true ways to make big gains is always the high dollar stuff.

Besides... If you put a leaf blower on the intake and converted 12V DC to 120V AC with a switch, you might see gains... (Entirely sarcastic)
For reference, a leaf blower may make it easier for the truck to breathe, but it does not compress the air (supercharger/turbo) and force the sir into the motor. Thus, a swing and a miss. I would pay good money to see a kid driving around with a damn leaf blower sticking out of the hood tho...

Patent the idea, build a prototype, and sell the blue prints for 10 bucks a copy. Someone will buy them. People did buy those intake tornado so why not?

I bought one and I gained 200 hp, 400 torque, and now average around 154 miles per gallon. I LOVE IT!!!

lol sorry bro, that sucks man, hopefully it didnt jack up anything to expensive. But i agree with everyone here, spend the money and buy the right stuff, not the cheap stuff. with today's economy, everything is going to look a little pricey, but itll save you a hell of a lot of money on repairs later.
