Not much traffic I'm audio section, I just have a quick question where can I get mdf board, home depot and such? Is that the real name for such wood or will the old dudes that work there look at me crazy? Lol

It stands for "Medium-Density Fiberboard". And yes, you can find it at Home Depot or Lowes. They better know what MDF board is, or they don't have any right working in the lumber section. lol

Solpushcart is right, your lucky you have "old dudes" working in your home depot. Mine is full of kids that arent qualified to run the nathans hot dog stand in the parking lot, lol.

Sweeet, will be my first time attempting to build anything, even a simple amp platform will feel good to achieve haha

If you build a box use 3/4. Amp board 1/2 will be fine. I'm one of those young kids that work at HD. Luckily I'm better at HD than i would be at cooking a hot dog.
