I know this topic has been covered and I've searched for quite a while but can't seem to find an answer.
I was looking at Jon_To's LED Thread today and now have a question.
I have the overhead console that runs all the way back and I don't have a single dome light in the back, I have 2 other Map lights.
Are all 4 bulb sizes the same?
I was just thinking about ordering these for a little cheap interior mod and then I looked up at that light in the back and needed to clarify

Check sylvania bulb guide online to get the exact bulb sizes to ensure you get the correct sizes then you should be good to go

 

Checked there too, only list's Map and Dome, and I don't have a Dome, I have 2 Map-Type lights in back.

 

Ok wasn't sure if it would show different. Best way to know is pop them open and look. I would assume they are but worst case you order 4 and have 2 extra, they are cheap. I ordered 20 for mine because they were much cheaper per LED even though ill probably never use all of them

I would take it apart right now and look but its about 10* here and I don't want to break the plastic or anything.

 

By that I would say one dome and 4 maps is what you need.
I replaced mine in about 15* temp and didn't have an issue but I use dash removal tools.

Alright I guess I'll PM Jon_To and see what he says. Any other advice is welcome!

 

Easy way to take them out and just look at the bulbs. You'll be taking them out anyways might as well get some practice

 

if i were to guess, 4 map and one dome. just pop it off real quick and look. i used a flat head to pry my down and from start to finish was under 3 min for all lights.

 

Yep Jon_To helped me confirm that I have 4 maps and 1 dome. New LED's on the way!
