Lug NUTS!
I had my truck inspected when I bought it by the liberty gas station by my house. HUGE mistake. They OVER torqued them. I mean over the 150! I had to change my rotors and I stripped a cheap tire iron and twisted my commercial one enough that the chrome coating flaked off a good 3 inches. Just for kicks I put my dial torque wrench on it to see. It was tightened over 200 lb-ft. I had recently broken my cheater bar, so I put a scrap exhaust manifold on my tire iron for leverage. Chipped the cast iron before I finally broke them loose.
I have to say, I am beyond impressed with these studs.

I think the exact torque spec is 148-150 ft/lb torque but don't quote me on that. Also to get mine off all I have to do is use a 1/2 junk torque wrench and a little bit of muscle and it comes right off. Also I agree with an earlier post of not using anti-seize on the lug nut threads... It's also pointless seeing as how the wheels come off more than anything else on the vehicle except maybe the oil pan plug bolt.
I really don't understand this high torque spec. I have always torqued my lugs to 80 ft-lbs. Since the spec is 150 I did torque them to 100 ft-lbs once and the next time I went to rotate my tires I couldn't get them off. Had to use heat and PB blaster to finally get them off. Back to 80 ft-lbs for me.
