Lowering a 4x4 supercrew?
true but i think its a waste of money to buy a 4x4 and lower it but i know the hastle of a dealership and newer trade-ins if it was me i would look into the same truck you have now but without 4wd or who knows you might be able to sell you trans,t case and front members to a shop or something and get a 2wd front end and tranny and a few extra bucks
How are you gonna keep the IRS in the front straight when you lower it. I know when you raise it you drop the front diff down when you put the lift spindles on it. You can't shove it higher in the truck to lower it. I have to agree about getting a 2wd to lower.
I have found some kits, Well 4x4 does hold more value! Looking at the front it is no differ than a 2wd other than the front axle going into it!
The front axle angle would stay bout same, since spindle center is about 2 in lower than diff center only thing u would be doing is makeing spindle center bout 1 in above diff center, so really no change !

Technically if you want a bagged 4x4 scraping you no longer have a 4x4 because you have to switch to a 2 wheel drive chasis and its way to much work. You can bag the back end of a lifted 4x4 for towing purposes
