Default Low Idle

So had to get a piece welded in my truck bed so battery got disconnected for about 4 hours. Terrible Idle since then. Looked on here and found a thread for the battery relearn steps and preformed them 2x to no change. What else could it be? Ran perfectly fine before the battery disconnect.

Some also suggest letting the truck run from cold start to normal operating temp.

it will do what it needs to do by driving it though.

Definitely.. use CRC throttle body cleaner. Clean the MAF sensor too while you are at it... CRC makes a MAF cleaner too. Walmart sells them both.

I'm just going to toss out some ideas and maybe it will help. Where did the guy put his ground on the truck when he was welding? I'm thinking that even though the battery was disconnected there are a lot of electrical components that are still connected through the truck body. If the ground found a better path through one of them then it might have damaged it. Is damage to the alternator a possibility?
