Looking for some low cost performance upgrades for a 04 FX4 that don't require premium fuel. Any suggestions? Already have a K&N air filter and took apart the intake from the fender (choking hazard)

Have yor replaced your fuel filter lately? easy and should be done every 10k.
Clean your maf sensor. easy and should be done about every 10k or when you change or clean your air filter. Buy a can of mafs cleaner.

 

hack the factory box like i did, and a summit exhaust for 150 is pretty good

 

replace factory coffin size muffler and leave stock tailpipe.

What is a MAF sensor?

 

MAF = Mass Air Flow. Stickers are a cheap mod.. If you drive a civic they even add HP. Especially NOS stickers.

And I agree with the stickers. I added a Cobra emblem to my stock V6 mustang and I beat a ferrari with it.
