Soak 'em in WD-40 , give it a couple of minutes and they wipe right off.
They will eat paint if you leave on there too long.
Make sure if you use a dryer sheet you have it very wet.
Those things can be very abrasive.

i saw your from central florida. i went through the same thing the week before last going from titusville to ocala, then ocala to tallahassee. they were so thick it sounded like rain hitting the windshield....i hate those things. good thing it was my work truck and not my POV.
