How's the stereo console thing come off on an 05 150?

 

It's clipped in. Open your cup holder/ash tray reach underneath the trim piece and slowly start prying off all the way to the top. Once it's released from the dash you'll need to unplug the passenger airbag warning light.

 

Yeah I figured it out. Pretty simple. I got a cheap cd player cuz factory decided to leave it out. Just something to plug my iPod and a cd here or there.
