Lossing coolant
Hey everyone wondering if you can help me with this issue I'm having. I have a 2007 ford f150 4.6 L Two weeks ago started my truck up let it warm up for ten minutes came out temp gauge was in the middle where it should be but when I turned the heat on it was cold air coming out. Check my coolant level and it was really low. Took it to a local shop the pressure tested the system and no leaks. When out this morning check coolant level and its low again so I took it back. Does anyone know what the issue is. Could it be my head gaskets or the intake manifolds I have know idea where the coolant is going.

If it's a head gasket, the coolant is either being burned, and you'll have whitish smoke out the tail pipe, or the coolent is leaking into the crankcase, and your oil will be milky. Pull the dip stick and see.

It was on the passenger side, front of the engine. Just found a puddle and then saw the leak. From what I've read thats a notorious place for them to leak.
Took me several days to find it. I kept smelling/losing coolant and couldn't find where, until its like now. I have to fill the resivour to drive to work, then fill it again to drive home.

Well I just got back from the mechanic they had the system pressurized almost all day and not leaks. So there saying that means no external leaks so there saying it has to be internal. They took it of for a test drive and know white smoke out the tail pipe and know coolant smell or anything I'm puzzled. He saying the best thing would be too do is replace the intake manifold gasket but he won't be able to tell if that's the source until they take them apart. What do you guys think
