Default Loss of Power

Ok, I have an 08 FX4 Screw now with 72k on miles. i have a CAI and exhaust- removed the bullydog GT. I have seafomed the throttle body, engine and gas tank and cleaned the MAF. I have not changed the plugs and packs yet . I am running 35's with 3.73 gears. now heres where my problem is, I just don't have the POWER i think i should have. The engine runs great, very smooth, no ticking or anything. The trucks amazing but I just dont "feel" the power.... and even on the interstate once i get past 60-65 I just don't have the uummpph i think it should have... I have ordered a new EDGE CS but i am wondering if theres anything else I need to work on. would changing the plugs and packs make a big difference? pre-thanks for any opinions and advice

With 35s and 3.73 gears, you're not going to see power.

Re-gear.

With 35's 4.56 gears would probably be your best bet. It's not cheap though, probably like 2 grand once everything is all said and done.
And gearing is kind of hard to explain but just think of it this way. When you put bigger tires on your truck that has the same effect, albeit a much lesser effect, as trying to start your truck from a stop in 2nd gear all the time. If you went to a higher gear ratio then it would get your truck back to where it was stock. It will also probably improve your fuel mileage a little.

Assuming your truck is 4x4, you have to re-gear the front diff too matching whatever you put in the rear. ...I had a buddy buy 2 salvage yard Dana 44 diffs and put them in his jeep (600hp mud buggy). They were tagged 4.10...well, first time he put it in 4wd, and mashed the throttle, he shredded the transfer case and the gears in the front diff, along with the rear drive shaft. One ended up being 4.10, the other was 4.55. Needless to say it was an interesting test drive after just rebuilding the whole drive train from a previous rollover the month before.
