I replaced the coils. The ride seems smoother and it doesn't stall. However there is still some sort of electrical issue. I had it just idling in my driveway and all the electronics just shut off then came back on. The car was still running and idling fine however. My next plan is the voltage regulator.

Just wiggle all the wire harnesses around to see if you can cause the power to shut off again.

also check to see if your fuel pump driver module is rotted out.. It's on the horizontal cross member in front of the spare tire driver side. When the aluminum housing on the module corrodes the electronics inside get wet and can shut down the fuel pump.

I had that replaced. That happened once already. And when the electronics shut down the car stays on. I don't have any issues with fuel like that.

When you bought and replaced the alternator, was it a cheaper rebuild? They have been known to be bad out of the box.

When it comes to starters and alternators, there's no better than paying a higher price and getting a good, new OEM.

Was the electrical issue a problem prior to replacing the alternator? If so, I'd rule that out. If not, I'd suspect that replacement alternator.

Just tossing parts at a problem gets expensive quickly.

I cant believe no one has suggested this.... All of these symptoms sound like a bad ground. Check the ground to the Alt, battery, starter, and engine block.
