Loose drivers side door latching

Loose drivers side door latching
Ok, I have a 2006 Ford F-150 XLT supercab pickup, and on the left side doors don't seem to latch properly (but it does stay closed). When I go over bumps, the door bounces in and out. Do I need to buy new latch cables, or is there a way to tighten them up?

I'm also reading that the problem is the rear door hinges, they need adjusting.
