Default ambient temp. display

This is my dash display. Odometer and compass work but not temperature. I have replaced the sensor in front of the radiator and checked the wires for wear or damage. Any ideas what could be wrong?

As I said in my original post, I have already replaced the sensor. Since that didn't work and I can't find anything wrong with the wires, do I give up?

Take it to a mechanic who can diagnose things (instead of just replacing). Maybe you have a cut wire somewhere.

Having taken the time to actually read your entire (36 word) post and considering the thoughtful responses you have received thus far, I looked up something I have that might be beneficial in furthering your efforts. Hope this helps.
