I have an 08 and love it. Some have spark plug issues with the old heads and the cam phaser tick is annoying to some. I don't mind it , but mine isn't that bad.

Great trucks, the 04-05 years have lean problem with a cai (so i am told) but it was corrected after that. The plugs can be an issue if they have not been done already but not the end of the world. The fuel module under the spare tire is also a must to be checked and replaced. They like fuel but we are talking 4x4 trucks that weight @ 7200 lbs depending on options

Adjustable lumbar. Seriously, I think the seats in my XL may very-well be the most uncomfortable seating devices installed on any vehicle anywhere ever. I mean it; EVER. ...and it's hard to find the comfy ones that have the integrated seat belts without paying a fortune. If I were to buy my truck all over again, I would finance another G to upgrade the seats at the dealer.

I love my truck. I have an 08 and have not had a single issue with it at all. Have had several other vehicles, an edge for example was my gf's and at 50k miles the PTU stripped itself. My truck is at 51k and I LOVE IT!
