2004 Supercrew. Right now It has a level and 33's. I'd like for my truck to have a wider footprint. I read on here there was one lift manufacturer that pushes the front wheels out, but I don't remember which manufacturer that was. I've considered wheel spacers, but don't like the negative effects on things like power steering system. Is there a wider rear axle that will bolt in in place of my oem axle? Raptor? Superduty? I'd much rather pay for wider running gear than trying to save a buck with cheap band-aid fixes.

I think its BDS. Been known to increase stance by 1.5 or 2" if memory serves

 

Why not just get wider wheels with a negative offset?

 

I will definitely look into the rims! Can someone confirm BDS is the one to stick the front tires out? How wide can I go without rubbing? I'd still like wider drivetrain. Has anyone used Raptor front end components to get that extra 7 inches of width in the front? I think it's about that time where I can stop regarding my 04 as a "new truck" and start thinking of ways to have fun with it! Thanks.

A set of negative offset wheels will give you what your looking for ...

How wide are you looking to go.... The raptor has a stock 09+ width rearend. A superduty has a wider rearend but your looking a lot of work to make that work.... You'd be better off with a custom built rearend and it will fit the pre-runner look it sounds like you want.

 

A raptor has a longer rear axle than an f150....

 

I know the raptor is listed as 7" wider wheelbase than an F150. I assumed it was a different axle on the same frame, making it an easy swap with every mount lining up.

 

Most vehicles have a wider track in front than the rear.
