At times when I've needed a hard to find part for cheap and the immediate boneyards don't have it, is to branch out and call all the other boneyards in the state.

I had to resort to that once when I needed a particular part for a 94 Chrysler Lebaron I was working on that wasn't made anymore. My wife and I spent 1.5 hours on the phones calling various places and took about 50 calls but I eventually tracked it down and was able to have a friend local to that place go pick it up.

Just a suggestion.

looking for love in all the wrong places
Looking for love in too many faces
Searching your eyes, looking for traces
Of what.. I'm dreaming of...
Hopin' to find a friend and a lover
God bless the day I discover
Another heart, lookin' for love

did you try the website?

you need to know your specifics, wheel bases and what not, but if it cant find one you can put your info down and then someone will contact you if they have it...

Well there's your problem....you're suggesting that Mattxfx4 look for love when he needs to be looking for a rear driveshaft.

Ford though that it would be a good idea back in 2004-mid 2005 to use the hole idea of "staking" the bearings and the U Joints insted of using retaining clips. it was suspose to be a better way of doing it and save money............. Well it was intil you need to replace the u joint. Then you screwed....
I look at another sight and the said to use a F150 u joint from a later model and use a washer and then put the clip on over the washer. Well I did that and Im not down with a shaddy mod on the truck.
The one that told me this also said that the shop that did his drive shaft just replaced it with a 2007 drive shaft and it bolted right up. So that is what I am looking for now is a 2007 F150 FX4 rear drive shaft...........
Its messed up I know................. Now you know!!
