Looking at an 04 - have a few questions

That is a good point, but its not the technicians nor the dealerships fault. You own it and Ford built it. Thats where the lawyers come in to make their money. Its a very sad issue. I personally don't know if I will ever own one of those engines. I wonder what is down the road, the 302 or if you prefer the 5.0 was around 40 years by design. Now we have this mess for the additional 26 cubic inches or .4 liters. I preach technology is good and we have to learn and accept it. Is it worth it with this engine? If you wash it, it won't run, changing plugs will either give you a heart attack or break the savings account. I'm going off down the wrong road, please excise me. Good luck and hope all turns out well.

If only that were true - I'd drop mine off tomorrow.
Instead - I'll do it myself and slowly and by the TSB. However, even doing so with my 05 Mustang I ended up with two broken plugs out of the 8. But, I think I learned some better tricks that will help my avoid broken plugs on the truck.
Lets hope.
