my axel code is B6. That means I have 3.73 LS in the rear. but whats in the front?

I feel like my front is performing rather bad in the mud and is either open diff or worn to hell LSD. whats an easy fix for this

when in 4x4 if both front wheels are spinning at anytime while both are on the ground its limited slip because i believe if its an open diff. never are both tires spinning at the same time. correct me if im wrong

If you have larger tires on that hurts your limited slip performance because when i had 265's on my truck was posi almost always now with 305,s the posi is alittle weaker.

Your front is an open diff. There's plenty of options for lockers and LS. Just depends on how much you want to spend.

thanks buster i thought it was open, either that or my LSD on my front end SUCKS. I mean i like to mud regularly but my truck isnt a mud truck its my D.D. so is there any cheap way to correct this problem? I wouldnt consider spending over 500 really to fix this.

A LS is really all you pretty much need. The Detroit trutrac is the best out there and is right around $500. Labor is pretty expensive tho so if you could do it yourself you could stay under your budget.
