Default Location of the OBDii sensor

Where exactly is the location of this? Thinking about buying a tuner tonight, and would like to know...lol.

I'm also open to suggestions on the best, most user friendly, tuner for a 2004 Scab 5.4L Fx4. Was thinking about going for the SCT iTSX considering I do have an iPhone 5, or an Edge Evo.

It's a plug right under the dash. On I think the 09 and up its directly under the steering wheel and prior years typically on right hand side under dash. Bout 2 inches long and inch or so wide.

Thanks a lot! Should be getting paid in an hour, so you may see an order from me very soon...=)

I just want to get the most out of Thunder while not trying to kill her on gas. I've heard nothing but good things about tuners so can't wait to hear Thunder's response to it!

I also noticed on your site that only Octane 87, 91, 93 tunes come with it. Could I get one for Octane 89 fuel? It's what I'm currently using.

Sure they can write one for you. The 87, 91 and 93 are the factory installed programs. You can have one written for 89 octane. Franchi will ask you for different information so the tune/program can be custom written just for thunder. Pete out.

I've asked and Octane 91 doesnt seem too bad to be using in Thunder, and as long as it doesnt hurt my truck, then I wouldnt mind using it to make the tuning easier.

I would hope they could write one for 89. It's all I use in my truck because the gas station I go to charges the same for 89 as 87!

Here in Fallon, NV...the stations here have weird numbers I've never seen (Octane 87/88/89/90/91). Its a lil confusing if you've never seen this many options, but, this can be found at any Maverik Gas Station here...lol. In Texas, I've always seen 87/89/91 Octane.

It's the OBDII diagnostic port, (not sensor. There's dozens of those all over the truck) and it's directly below the steering wheel.
Looks like this

Small pic, but you get the meaning
