Where can I find the light up fender emblems??? I thought Recon carried them, but can't find them anymore... If you don't know what I'm talking about, they look like the new fender emblem/vents on the 09+ 250s and the "F250" can be amber, red, or white.

Not really.... Somebody makes a set of Fender vents that light up from the inside. I thought it was Recon, but couldn't find them on their site.

 

I've seen the F150 ones that light up but with out the vents and I'm pretty sure I heard they discontinued them. I just googled it though and found this...

Ya recon dont offer those anymore for the F-150's.

So what i am gonna do is drill small little holes into the badges into the fender and run some of that very thin rope L.E.D. lights(stuff is pretty strong and durable and sealed very tightly)and run it to my batery with a togo swtich wire going thru my firwall access point so i can turn it on and off when i want to.I will be posting pics and a write up.No set date on when i will be doing it.Will let ya know

 

Lol it's only 11pm here. That sucks that they don't offer them anymore. I really like the new 250emblem/vents. Guess I'll have to ebay some and customize them myself.

i thot about putting the 250 vents on my truck actually.I think it would look bad ***.Hey im half way to a 250,i already sit higher than stock 250's,lol.What i would love to do,find solid 150 one piece vents the same size as the 250's and put them them same location as where the 250's and 350's have them.Hope that made sence,lol.

 

You mean like that first truck has? I'm technically a heavy half ton since I have the 10.25 rear, 7 lug rims, etc.
