Lights behind grille
Can some of you show how you're mounting lights behind the grille? I kind of have an idea but would like to see what you guys have done

Mine looks the same
I used the angle steel method personally as it was easier and more cost effective for me at least. The only downside to this is that the bar sits very close to the sensor.

Where did you mount it at on the sides? Can't really tell from the pics

If you undo the tabs at the top of your core support holding the splash guard/rubber mat in place you will see two brackets on either side where your headlamp assemblies bolt up. Just pull out those bolts and drill the bar out so you can bolt the bar up to match those brackets.
All my pics came out like crap so all I can do is try to describe it.

Got me wondering too are your grilles plastic.?
I’ve run daylighters before on my ranger and they get awful hot not sure if there hot enough to melt the grille but it would be a hell of a mess

All '04+ grilles are plastic. Ive never noticed the lights getting that hot but usually I dont have them on very long since I turn them off when another vehicle is coming my way. Theyre like high beams.
