Default Lighting Source for A Pillar Pod

I need to find a dimable lighting source for the gauge lights in my A pillar pod. Is there one in the headlight switch? What is the wire color? I figured there may be one there, and it's close to the pillar. Thanks.

I cant tell you which wire but I think the best spot would be to get it right off the back of the dimmer switch for the rest of the dash lights.

I guess I could probe the wires and the find the one with the voltage drop as the dimmer is rotated. That should work...right?

That it should. Maybe someone on here will have a wire diagram for that switch. They've come up with more obscure things before lol.

I've searched for it, but no luck. I'm sure the diagram is here somewhere, but I need to use the proper search terminology.

What you are looking for is "Parking lights" output.
Car Parking Lights Wire (+): Brown
Car Parking Lights Wire Location: At Headlight Switch

Please TEST with a multimeter before splicing to ensure wire is correct.
