Default Lifting the rear end?

Does the rear end of the truck or rear bumper need to be modified and/or lifted when the truck is being lifted? Someone told me I needed to do something with the rear end of the truck, but I can't remember. Thanks!

of course, it needs to be lifted as well--replacement leaf spring, taller block, add-a-leaf--or a combination of those

If it's a quality kit it should come with bumper "relocation" brackets. Are you looking at the PA body lift, if not check it out.
