Dad is about to buy a John Deere 5105 and it weighs around 8000lbs, gotta buy a trailer for it too, not going to tow it around much, but should I even try to tow it or should I just let my uncle with his F-250 take it?

 

if you wanna tow it tow it. but if i were you id save the wear n tear on your truck.

 

Tow that thing all day. It would be good if you had a trans temp gauge just to keep an eye on it. My friend runs a nursery and is always hauling around his bobcat with his 04 FX4 and the truck loves it.

F250 hands down, that will be over 10k pounds, why wreck yours when you got a 3/4 ton at your fingertips

but you gotta have limits. it will be cake for the 250 but bad for you cuz youll get used to it and tear your truck up
