Default lift question

Hi guys,

I know there is alot of info on my question and i have took alot into concideration by limiting it down to this point, i drive a 06 F150 FX4 ext. I have 20x9 Mako's by ultra wheels, i'm interested in getting Mickey Thompson 33X13.50R20LT tires and now im not sure between a suspension lift vs. leveling kit and add-a-leaf setup, if i go suspension lift i want nothing more then what is needed to have good wheel well clearences i think a 4" will do the job, i'm interested in the RCD or Rancho setup, but then theres the leveling kit and that is the autospring 2.5" or 2.0" setup with a procomp add-A-leaf.... now i have heard that leveling kits promotes ball joint damage something that is overtime quite expensive, but larger tires also promote ball joint damage aswell, and a suspension lift is $1800.00 compared $400.00 for leveling kit and leaf spring, let alone installation cost difference between the 2. If anybody that has the same setup that i want which is leaning towards the leveling kit, could you please advise me on my decision.

thanks for your time.

I also would like to know. I have an 06 F150 crew cab, but it has the 4.6, will it bogg down the truck too much with larger tires? What is recommended with just a level kit? Also do you need an add a leaf? Does the intake, exhaust and programmer, edge or superchip really help? Thanks guys, new here.

Leveling kit alone will fit most 33x12.50 tires, I would run 35x12.50 on a 2.5" leveling kit and a 1.5" Add a leaf set up...

Does he run stock wheels? I am thinking about getting a leveling kit and 1 inch rear block, they say it will run 35's

What they said. I had a RCD lift on my Ranger. It was an AWSOME kit.
