Default License plate relocation

Just like the title says i want to move my front license platebecasue i want to put a 30" LED light bar in my bumper hole but the stock plate location blocks off a good chunk of the potential light out put. I was looking for a way to modify the existing bracket to drop it down a couple of inches, just looking for some you guys ideas.

Maybe get two smaller light bars on each side of the license plate

I had thought of that but i kind of want a flood and spot combo instead of having either or with to small bars.

I'm interested in the same thing. I would like a single bar, but still have to have a front plate.

You could always just take the plate and bracket off, I did on mine. I figured that bmw's and sports cars never have a front plate and get away with it so what makes having a nice truck without one any different!?

I have not had a front plate on my trucks for the 21 years that I have lived in Ohio. Got a ticket a few weeks ago for no front plate and front side windows too dark.
Have the windows lighter now and a front plate also.
Only hurt for a short time.

I found this on Google images. This dude just lowered it and zipped it onto the plastic part with two screws. It's hard to say what it looks like in person. Might have to just pull it off, and temp mount it to see.

Maybe it's not in the plastic. These were his words. "I removed the original license plate holder. Drilled 2 3/16" holes and mounted the plate and frame directly to the bumper. I did this so the plate would not intrupt the flow of the lower grille."

Would you want to move the plate to the drivers side of the bumper like the newer 150's have them mounted? I'm not sure if the brackets that they use have the same mounting style? That would free up that pocket of the bumper
