I don't think they will. No one has ever heard of this to my knowledge and they haven't issued a recall. I don't think this one has much ground to stand on. It's not like there has been accidents caused by this or anything stupid like that. IMO this one will fall short.

The liars shopped this around. Why do you think it's in federal court in West Virginia? (no insult to those in WV). Liars will put almost anything out there and see what sticks. Maybe I should sue since my 07 power windows don't stop when they hit resistance. My dog rides with her nose out the window and MIGHT get caught if I close it while she is out there.

The sad thing is some judge and jury will hand over the verdict in favor of the liars. The people who might be in the class action suit will get less than $10 each while the liars take over 80% and buy new boats (I smell a law suit after that), cars, houses and laugh on the way to the bank.

Why would Ford issue a recall for something that no complaints? The on board black boxes show the driver, in almost all instances, steps on the gas while thinking they hit the brake. Why recall vehicles for stupid? And why pay off some idiot who is too stupid to put the vehicle in neutral or turn off the engine? Let them get a Darwin Award and leave the gene pool.

Our society is so screwed up. A lot of people think they have no responsibility and if something MIGHT happen, they should get big bucks. And our legal system supports it, since they win no matter what.
