Default Leveling Question

Hey all, I just had Rancho Quicklift struts put in on my 04 F150 FX4. It has a 3" rear block installed, but with the rancho's its sitting nose high right now, which leads me to believe the leaf springs are quite tired.

Now. The 04-05 F150's had 3 over 1 leaf springs, while the 06-08 models had 2 over 1 leaf springs. I understand that the 06-08 trucks ride somewhere between 1/2" - 1" lower in the rear than the 04-05 trucks.

if I want to upgrade the ride quality of my truck (who doesn't) theoretically the 2/1 springs would be softer. New 3/1 springs could be kinda bouncy I would imagine.

My concern however is that with the 2/1 springs its still gonna sit nose high, which I don't want. I want to keep some rake so when I'm loaded up she's not squatting super low in the back.

This is where I need some help. can someone with an 04-05 SuperCab with a 3" rear block on 35's take wheel well measurements in the back? If anyone with an 06-08 has a SuperCab with the same 3" block & 35's could also post wheel well ride height measurements to compare that would be awesome.

*By 3" rear block I mean physical block size, not 3" of lift.

Not understanding how you ended up nose high.. The quick struts should of provided 2.5" for the front.. which would of leveled a stock 4WD with the OEM rear block. You say you have a 3" rear block which would be A tad over an inch taller than OEM.. you should be an inch high in the rear still. ?

This is why I’m wondering how worn out these leaf springs are.

Actually. It’s not a raptor swap. I’ve figured it out. It has Rancho Quicklift struts. Well the shop forgot to pull out the 2” spacer that I had on before so it’s sitting on 4” of lift in the front.

I wont be driving it until I can get it to the shop to get the spacer removed.

Thanks for the help.

The rear looks to be Raptor to me. The wheels are Raptor also.
