leveling kit stud extenders help
A few days ago i was getting new struts put on . i decided to have the mechanic install my leveling kit instead of doing it myself to save time and money. The mechanic tells me that the stud extenders do not fit onto of the new strut and that the stud extenders are the wrong size. So i contact the manufacturer of the leveling kit, wondering if they sent me the wrong stud extenders. (For some reason they wont tell me the dimensions of the thread of the stud extender that are suppose to fit. so i could just measure them to solve the problem.) The mechanic swears that the new struts are OEM . The manufacture says that they should fit OEM struts. The manufacturer swears they sent the right parts. But they don't fit. The mechanic tried everything to get them on but they wouldn't budge. So someone is wrong here. Any help would be great!
Its probably a cheap kit like this.

For the life of me I don't understand why people buy these cheap *** kits to save a buck or two. There is no reason why anything other than a AutoSpring kit should be used. If you think $100 is to much for a leveling kit you shouldnt be leveling the truck. The quality of parts at that price cant be beat! I personally have installed dozens of them and have not had a single issue at all!
