Default Leveling Kit Question

So I have a 2005 Ford F-150 FX4 Crew cab. I was wondering what people's opinions were on the best leveling Kit there is to purchase for my truck. I was looking at either a 2.5" or 3" lift. Please let me know.

I have a hell bent steel 2.5" on my 04 scab fx4 and it is perfect. It left a slight rack about .375-.5 lower in the front but looks great! A lot of people don't go higher then 2.5" when it comes to the spacer type leveling kits because of bad front end geometry after and possible ball joint issues in the future.

This question has been asked many times.

Check out the Off Road Section...https://www.f150forum.com/f34/

You have a couple options...Bilstein 5100's, Spacers etc...

2.5" will get you leveled.

This is pretty much all you need...

Default Basic Leveling

JT is right, but if it's a choice between polyurethane and aircraft billet aluminum spacer, you'd probably want to go with the latter. Some options below.

Default HBS kit

I also installed the Hell Bent Steel 2.5 in leveling kit on my 2006 f150 xlt. I was unsure at first but had great reviews, after the install it put some crazy angles on my A frame. The install was simple I put on in about 2 hours. The bad angles has no effect on it so far and it's been on for about a year very pleased with product highly recommend! It allowed me to run 35x12.50x17 also highly recommend the kenda klever mud tires great quality for price!

I was thinking about going with a 2.5 inch level kit with 35x12.5x18 on my 2007 fx4 screw. Anybody have any warnings or advice?

It's going to depend what tires you get. Mud tires with an aggressive sidewall will rub the upper control arm. I have 325/60/18 terra grapplers, and I can't even squeeze a finger in between my tire and UCA, but they don't rub.
