leveling kit question

Default leveling kit question

ok I'm getting a set of 285/70/17 and I'm wondering what leveling kit to get and what it will look like post some pics of your leveled trucks also what kind of loss in mpg should i expect

Lot of questions.... Need a lot of specifics on your truck, 2 or 4 wheel drive? Engine? I ran that tire size for two years and can get 18 mpg on the highway.

i would go with around a 2 inch level. What gearing do you have?

This is how you measure for a leveling kit.

Measure from the ground to the bottom of your wheelwell in the front and back. (see picture). The difference will be the size kit you buy.

Mine has 285/70/17's, but it's a 4WD. They really don't effect your gas mileage that much.

I took out my old struts out and put my quicklift struts in in less than 2 hours. No air tools, all by hand, really not a hard job if you know what you're doing.
