leveling kit on lariat

Default leveling kit on lariat

i have a 07 f-150 lariat and i was looking at a 2" leveling kit but i don't want to put it in then my truck squat in the *** end! i wasn't shore if the lariat is higher in the back than an fx4 thanks

on most trucks the back is higher than the front but on ur truck u proberly need either a 2 or a 3 inch lowering kit

this might sound like a stupid question but, would u get less mpg is you leveled your truck bc its higher up, more air can go under causing more drag or watever they call it?

Neato question but I think you are looking too much into it. These are not nascars. There is a big difference between the parasitic drag at 200mph and 75mph. The slight difference it may make, you or the truck(mpgs) arent going to recognize it.

thanks for the comparison haha

i know this is off topic but im getting terrible gas mileage and i know im not expecting 22 or anything like that but im getting 9-11 and i take it easy so i saved some money up so, should i get a cold air intake or a toneau cover for the bed? im just worried about mpg right now.. i know there complety differerent accesories.

You can get away with a 2 or 2.5" spacer for the front.

I put a cover on the bed and gained 1 to 2 mpg from it. I'm on the south shore of L.I. which is famous for its traffic and do drive in 4WD in the sand pretty often and have never done worse than 12.
