Default Leveling kit issue

Hey guys I bought my truck used on November 20 2013, in December of 2013 I put a 2.5 leveling kit on truck had 150,xxx miles at that time. And everything was original upper and lower *****, tie rode etc, so I had drove the truck for a year like this and I developed a outside tire ware ( outer edge) I did regular 5,000 or so mile tire rotation (x formation) now fast forward to March so I didn't like the tire ware obviously so I change the upper and lower inner and outer ball goints( all original) I found that the upper ***** had some play in then can the upper control arms cause outer tire ware the lower ball goints were good and the tie rods were shot also I did have an alignment after the leveling kit was installed in 2013 befor I did a 1,500 mile road trip to North Carolina so my point is does bad upper arms cause outer tire ware

Default upper & lower ball joints

Yes ball joints will cause wear and common issue with most Ford trucks. The leveling kit will only change the Toe setting.
The falcon has a squared off edge and will look like there wearing more than they are. Rotation every other oil change will help. When I lifted- leveled my f150 last month I was lookin to go 3", but after much research found 2" is the most Ford and kit manufacturing companies recommend without other issues. I did add a leaf in the back too.

2"lifted front and add- leaf 1 1/2 lift rear

I belive they never checked the ball joints but I think the upper were good and it didn't have an effect until i think 4-6 months after install but my next tire rotation I will flip the tire ( outer edge becomes inside edge) and the new "outer edge" starts to wear down again it's probably camber even though after the new ball joints were installed in March I had is aligned and ca burg was good
