Default Leveling kit - help

I'm installing a Daystar 1" leveling kit. The stud extensions do not go all the way down to the base of the strut mount and thus stick out of the top of the spacer when installed. I can't see how this can be correct as the spacer will just flop around. Can anyone provide some clarification?

Daystar is telling me I have to cut the strut bolts down....that's not in their instructions and I've never heard of having to do that.

I have the exact same kit, and you just have to force it down. Do not cut anything

I had to use an impact to get my bolts all the way down on my RC kit...

The extensions are bottoming out on the studs, they aren't going down any further. Guess I will cut.

Take a pencil or something similar and put it up inside the extension bolts to see how deep they are and compare that to the length of your strut bolts just to make sure they're all the way down. If anything it will at least tell you how much to cut off.

Maybe you got bolts for the 2.5" level and not the 1" I did my 2.5 with no cutting. Id complain.
