Default Leveling kit help

I started yesterday but ran out of daylight yesterday so I'm trying to finish now. I'm having trouble screwing this nut back on. As I tighten it, the entire bolt spins with it so it's not going anywhere. I'm putting as much pressure as I can down on the prybar but that's not helping. Any ideas?

You need to put pressure against the knuckle so its tight against the upper control arm. Then you can tighten it up.

back up a few feet man, take a picture, and post it here.

i'm not sure, but the redneck part of me is thinking that rather you hit it with a hammer, then try screwing it in, or using a C clamp from the back of the ball joint to the (name is on the tip of my tongue atm) or maybe....

you can reposition the jackstand and let the weight of the truck push it into place.

not sure, again.... just a redneck part of me thinking on little sleep and no coffee yet.

Bob got it. I forgot to man up and put some real weight down on the pry bar. This Florida heat must be making me weak.

All is well now. I got have to put the tire on and get my alignment this afternoon.

Thanks for the help guys. Without this forum my truck would still be slightly lower in the front.

you care to "pay it forward"?

there's a guy on here, with a 2004, has his ground cable broken. he doesn't know where it leads to.

he has a pic from the firewall, and he's holding on to it.

maybe you could help out and tell me where that cable is supposed to run to, and what route it takes?

thanks man.

I just commented on his thread. I don't have enough knowledge to tell you where it goes, but I did try to just go take a picture for reference, but it's down too deep and I can't see it.

no worries man.

you gave it an effort.

that's what's great about the forum. guys who help guys. and even if they don't have the same year etc of truck, they may know someone who does.

but, every once in a while, you'll run into someone who's overly c*cky etc, and you just gotta mention it to a mod or someone else who has a high post count, they'll make sure a mod takes care of the situation.
