Default Leveling Kit

I'm looking into getting a leveling kit for my 06 Ford F150 XLT Supercab but heard some bad issues with them hurting the front end after a few months. Anyone have any issues with them or have an opinion? Also, what "brand" would be the best? I'm thinking on gettings a 3" Front 2" Rear Lift Kit .....any thoughts?

never heard of any prolems with leveling kit. there are hundreds of trucks with them on here. no specific brand, they are all about the same, 2.5'' is 2.5''

Actually the OP was asking about a 3" kit. I debated the 3" kit but there too many stories about acccelerated ball joint wear and possible coil spring/upper control arm contact. It just wasn't worth it to me. I did the 2.5" HBS kit and love it. I am debating putting an AAL in the rear because I do tow and haul with my truck and I would rather not go down the road with my *** squating.

I have heard that the 3" does cause premature wear...I have a 2.5 with 30K on the truck no sign of problems.

Hell Bent Steel or Autosprings is what most people generally go with

I've got a 2.5" Hell Bent Steel on my 06 F-150 supercab. Had it for about 3,000 miles which isn't a lot I know. But everything seems to be fine. Still drives straight and handles good so far.

I just had the Ready Lift 3" installed yesterday with the AAL and i hope there won't be any premature wear but only time will tell.
