Default leveling kit

so i went to a local tire shop who does lift kit and rim and tire and whatnot, but nonetheless i asked how much it would be for a 3 in leveling kit plus the alignment.. he said he had the parts and everything would be $350..i work all the time so i really dont have the good time on my hands to shop around but does that sound like good deal..im new to the four wheel drive and i love it im just now getting into the modding scheme but your inputs would be greatly appreciated. thanks.

that's too much IMO. but depending on what your area charges for labor and alignment, it could be reasonable. up here labor is 70 an hour and an alignment is 50, 1.5 hrs for install, 115+70=185+level kit

Last weekend me and a buddy put on a 2 1/2 inch leveling kit from autosprins. I t took us 2 hours and that was only cause we were drinking. It is not hard to do at all. There is a good write up in the how to section with pics that is what we went off of.

Kit-70 bucks
alignment -40 bucks
110 bucks save your self some money bud the economy is ruff u never no when u will need it .

I dno, seems like a horrible deal to me. I got my leveling kit from Hell Bent Steel on ebay for $69 shipped. It cost me $48 to get it installed, and $55 for the alignment. That's a total of $183. Granted, the labor was $38 an hour and the alignment was done in canada so it was canadian money, but still. It's quite a bit less than $350...
